What is wabyle.com ?

Wabyle is one of the largest Islamic torrent tracker, search engine and directory on the net.
Our goal is to provide an easy-to-use directory and search engine for all kinds of Islamic and legal content. And allow every Muslim to share with ease their contents with muslims around the world.

What is a .torrent file?

This is a small metadata file. Metadata here means that the file contains information about the data you want to download, not the data itself.
Your BitTorrent client needs the .torrent file to connect to the tracker (see below) and download the actual data you're interested in.

What is a tracker?

A BitTorrent tracker is a service on the internet that assists in the communication between BitTorrent clients. When you open a torrent file, your machine contacts the tracker and asks for a list of seeds and leechers to connect to.

What are seeds?

A seed is a client that has a complete copy of the data of a certain torrent. Once your BitTorrent client finishes downloading, it will remain open until you click the Finish button (or otherwise close it). This is known as being a seed or seeding.

What are leechers?

A leecher is a client that is currently downloading the data of a torrent. A leecher does not have the complete file, otherwise it would be called a seed.

Why should I register at Wabyle?

If you downloaded files and you found that they don’t respect wabyle rules:

  • Content which doesn’t respect Islamic recommendations,
  • Pornographic content,

What to do if a torrent file has no seeds?

To ask for more seeds, you have to be logged in first, and click on “RESEED” button

What to do if I want you to remove certain copyrighted files from your website?

Please note that we do not host any copyrighted content on this website. The torrent (metadata) files that we host do not contain data that might be copyrighted in any way.

However, we offer a service to remove torrents from our website if the copyright holder of the content requests so. These removal requests are only valid if:

  • You are, or your company is, the copyright holder of the content in question.
  • You provide the exact URLs to the torrents, no complete (sub)categories or search queries.
  • You provide the complete name(s) of the content in question.
  • You send the removal request using a verifiable email address (e.g. address@yourname/yourcompany.com).

If your request complies with all of these rules, send a mail via the « Contact page ». Please keep the correspondence polite.

We remove postings as soon as we can, usually within 48 hours. Keep in mind that we can only handle removal requests that comply with the rules mentioned above.

How to install and use µtorrent ?

How-to install & run µtorrent

  1. Go to http://www.utorrent.com/ and download the client :

  2. When you finished downloading, install the program.
  3. A new icon appears in your desktop :

How-to configure µtorrent

  1. click on Options > Preferences :

    If you want to start automatically your client at startup, check the box (1) “Start µTorrent on system startup”.
  2. Go to “Directories” tab :

    Change the download directory to a folder where you want to store all downloaded files : for example : c:\downloads
  3. Leave the rest as they are.

How-to start downloading files

  1. Find the content you want to download :

  3. And click on the “DOWNLOAD” button.

  4. When finished you will get a file with .torrent extension.

  5. Go back to µTorrent, click on File > Add Torrent.

  6. Find the Torrent file you have downloaded and click on “Open”.
  7. Your download will start immediately.

How to create and upload new torrent ?

Create your torrent

  1. First, you have to put the files you want to share in a specified folder. Because as we will see in next steps, you can only share a one specific file or a folder with all included files and subfolders.
  2. Copy your file/folder into your "Download folder" which you specified in your µTorrent configuration (cf. configuration chapter)
  3. Start µTorrent program and go to File > Create New Torrent

  4. In the next panel you need to Select files you want to share and specify the tracker :

  5. Select the file or the folder (with all included files and subfolders) you want to share.
  6. In “Trackers” field, put the wabyle announce URL : http://tracker.wabyle.com:2710/announce
  7. You want put a comment in “Comment” field if you want.
  8. Click on “Create and save as” button.
  9. Specify the destination folder and give a name to your torrent.

  10. Don't forget to check on “Initial seeding” in your torrent “Properties”

Upload your torrent to wabyle.com :

  1. Now you have a torrent file and you need to upload it to wabyle.com.
  2. Go to wabyle.com and sign in “sign in page” if you have already an account else you have to create a new one “sign up page”.
  3. Click on “Upload” in the top navigation bar.

  5. Find the torrent file you have created and click on “open”.
  6. Fill all the information in the new form :

  8. And finally, open the torrent file that you have created in the previous chapter with µTorrent.
